John Salley continued his point about professional athletes not having direct access to team owners when Vlad pointed out that the Chicago Bulls owner was never mixed up in the drama that was documented in "The Last Dance" docuseries. Salley also stated that Michael Jordan's intensity was to make the players around him better and never tried to get players traded.
He also talked about Kawhi Leonard leaving the Toronto Raptors for the Los Angeles Clippers because he didn't think the Raptors were good enough to repeat. Salley questioned if he would have left despite everything that Toronto was offering Leonard to stay. However, Salley acknowledged Leonard's reasons for choosing Los Angeles before explaining how an NBA team ended up in Canada in the first place.
