However, OG Maco explained why he didn’t want his rap persona to be defined by that episode in his past because he didn’t want to seem like a threat to other communities who could be potential fans. Later, OG Maco recounted being on probation for 7 years for the armed robbery case and how he’d come up with elaborate excuses to skip out on meeting with his probation officer to go perform.
