Migos: We Would Like Credit for Changing the Current Sound of Rap (Flashback)

In this flashback, Quavo and Takeoff started off reacting to Zaytoven telling VladTV that Migos influenced a lot of rappers, and Quavo said that their sound has crossed genres. He then stated that you can’t listen to a rap song without hearing the Migos flow, which Quavo says Migos deserves credit for. When asked about how the Migos flow was developed, Quavo simply said, “That’s the way we rap,” and he went on to explain how the sound was perfected over the years. Takeoff also detailed how they met Drake backstage at a show, and he added that Drake showed love to them and their music. From there, Quavo and Takeoff revealed that Drake wanted to do songs with them, and that’s when they decided to send over “Versace,” which exploded their popularity.
