In this clip, B-Lovee talks about growing up in the Andrew Jackson housing projects in the South Bronx, while being raised by his mom. He also explains why he dropped out of school in the 9th grade, before talking about getting arrested by the police on various occasions. From there, he talks about his friendship with fellow NYC rapper Kay Flock.
Moving along, B-Lovee explains where his nickname 'Buddy Love' came from and how it evolved into his stage name. From there, he reveals that the quarantine shutdowns during the 2020 pandemic led to him spending more time on his music, which just so happened to occur around the time that Brooklyn Drill was gaining popularity. He also talks about the making of his debut project (Courtlandtbaby), why he chose the album title and how his crew promoted the music, initially.
