Speaking more about the latter, Deon explained that his mother’s passing caught him off guard, and he added that her death was surrounded by his aunt and uncle’s passing. From there, Deon spoke about how the Netflix special came together and why he wanted to keep his mom’s legacy going. Deon explained that he performed the special on the one-year anniversary of his mother’s death, and he spoke about how difficult is was to get himself to the venue and through his set. From there, Deon spoke about finding other people his age who have lost their parents, which led to Vlad speaking about his experience with losing a parent.
