Retired NBA star Dominique Wilkins discussed his final game for the Magic, recounting that he was aware it was going to be his last. Reflecting on the era he played in, he described a strong sense of duty and toughness, refusing to take nights off unless absolutely necessary due to severe injuries. Never winning a championship, he believes, doesn't diminish a player's greatness and affirmed that winning wasn't his measurement of success. He also expressed pride in the current Hawks team and its potential to win a championship with the backing of dedicated team ownership. Wilkins’ number 21 jersey was one of only five to be retired by the Hawks, an honor he describes as special and recalls learning a lot from fellow retired players, Bob Pettit and Lou Hudson.
