Boxing legend Evander Holyfield reflects on his journey to the top, from winning a silver medal at the 1983 Pan American Games in Venezuela to his 160-win record. His victories in the boxing ring eventually led him to the prestigious Summer Games. There, he found it awe-inspiring to be surrounded by high-level competitors. He recounts the heartbreak of winning only bronze at the Olympics, due to a questionable call during the match against Kevin Barry. He admits to having had gold aspirations inspired by his idol Muhammad Ali. Holyfield also discusses personal life occurrences during the peak of his career—including the ups and downs of his relationship with actress A.J. Johnson, and the many children he fathered—that contributed to his road to becoming the Evander Holyfield known today.
