In an unreleased prison interview from April 4th, 2023, R Kelly details how a federal search warrant revealed that his "lovey-dovey" jail calls to one of his girlfriends were illegally accessed by an employee of the Bureau of Prisons and then leaked to blogger Tasha K. According to Kelly, Tasha then shared these phone calls with another one of his girlfriends who became angry enough to testify against him in court. R Kelly was ultimately found guilty in that case and was sentenced to 31 years in prison.
R Kelly also went into his health issues in prison involving blood clots in his leg.
