Sammy 'The Bull' Gravano admitted that he and 40 others were implicated in an ecstasy ring. That included his wife, son, daughter, and her boyfriend, who were all caught in a law enforcement sting. Despite Gravano asserting that instances of intercepted phone calls were misconstrued, when the dust settled, a series of convictions followed. Gravano got a 20-year prison sentence, his son received nine years, and his ex-wife and daughter were given probation. Gravano also implicated his son-in-law, who was sentenced to nine years. According to Gravano, he claimed responsibility and admitted to everything to protect his family, even though he insisted they were innocent. As part of his surrender, he lost everything – houses, cars, cash – and had to pay hefty fines and court costs.
