Baseball icon Darryl Strawberry disclosed that he slept with women between innings during his active years due to a sex addiction. Strawberry described the 80s and 90s as a different era when girls were open to all kinds of things and were everywhere, making the process easier. He also discussed the issue of being indicted by the IRS for tax evasion. He and teammate, Doc Gooden, would make a lot of money doing appearances and would often give away their earnings. However, the IRS found out and determined that Strawberry owed $300,000 in taxes from undeclared appearances. Instead of implicating others in the industry who were doing the same, Strawberry chose to accept the charges. He further emphasized his refusal to rat on others, a stand influenced by his South Central L.A. upbringing.
