--------

Comedian Donnell Rawlings recently sat down with Vlad to discuss his time on "Chappelle's Show." During the discussion, Rawlings shared the experience of reprising his character on "Saturday Night Live" along with Dave Chappelle. According to Rawlings, the reaction was phenomenal, which led to them doing it again the next year. He also expressed frustration over the constraints of network television, which often cut out some of their funniest material. Rawlings also entertained the thought of a "Chappelle's Show" anniversary special but doubted its feasibility, especially after the loss of key player Charlie Murphy. He did, however, suggest a sketch featuring a 'Haters Ball' funeral as a tribute to Murphy's character. Ultimately, Rawlings left it at the notion that some things are sometimes better left as part of history.
