However, he clarified that due to his current legal situation, including being on probation and residing in a halfway house, he wouldn't pursue the fight, saying, "I'm past that." Fubanger also revealed that the federal agents involved in his case never offered him a collaboration deal or proffer agreement. Instead, they wanted him in jail. He criticized Tekashi for creating unnecessary disputes and betraying those who were involved in his schemes. Despite past transgressions, Fubanger is optimistic about the future, announcing a movie about his life, a soundtrack, and a clothing line in the works.
