Michael Corleone Blanco, son of infamous drug lord Griselda Blanco, shared personal insights into his mother’s life growing up in Colombia. He described his mother's upbringing in extreme poverty in a mixed neighborhood with illegal activities such as gambling and cannabis. Griselda used to talk about how her impoverished state, often paired with mockery from her peers, led to her deciding her children would never live in poverty. Blanco also discussed an unconfirmed story of his mother being involved in the kidnapping and possible killing of a wealthy engineer’s son when she was 11 years old.
