Yung Joc and Shawn Prez discuss Kendrick Lamar’s perceived diss towards Drake and J. Cole in a recent Metro Boomin and Future track. Joc suggested the disses seem "orchestrated" and are probably intended to spice up the hip-hop scene which, according to Joc, is somewhat "suffering." He finds it hard to believe top-tier artists such as Drake, Kendrick and J. Cole are actually at odds. Talking about the violence and negativity in music, Joc stated the focus should be about delivering high-quality music and spreading a better message. He said there's a need to get away from harmful, violent themes that currently flood the music scene, and concentrate instead on cultivating good music.
