Trap Lore Ross discussed the challenges he faced when creating his documentary on the late rapper King Von. Ross recalled how he published a series of mini-documentaries about Von while he was alive, eventually receiving multiple copyright strikes as a result. Von's team from Empire Records threatened to take down Ross' YouTube channel if details about an alleged murder were not removed from the documentaries. Following demands from Von's team to remove specific content related to alleged leaked DMs, Ross complied and saved his channel. However, due to the threat, Ross stated it was "obvious to me that he [King Von] killed K.I." Ross suggested that these allegations are further substantiated by changing stories and inconsistent narrations by multiple parties involved.
