Decorated sniper Nicholas Irving confidently declared that there’s no scenario in which he would have missed shooting former President Donald Trump, had he been the designated gunman. When asked about the likelihood of missing such a pivotal shot, Irving emphatically responded, “Absolutely not.” Irving drew from his extensive experience, explaining that his average engagement distance was under 300 yards. He recounted a startling incident involving a rooftop encounter where his target, concealed in a pile of clothes, surprised him. Despite the unexpected challenge, Irving successfully engaged multiple targets within 150 yards. He underscored the rigorous sniper training, involving strenuous physical exertion, which ensures that marksmen can hit targets accurately even under duress. Irving, familiar with shooting under chaotic conditions, asserted that even a high-pressure situation with an AR-15 would not have affected his accuracy.
