Daniel Phillip shared candid memories of his first private gig involving Sean “Diddy” Combs and singer Cassie circa 2011. At the time, Phillip was managing a male revue and occasionally danced when needed. Called last minute to perform at a supposed bachelorette party at Gramercy Park Hotel, Phillip was surprised to find Cassie in striking red lace lingerie instead of a crowd of partygoers. Mistaking Cassie for Rihanna due to her look, he was caught off guard but agreed to proceed. Phillip recalled receiving an unexpectedly generous tip of around $2,000, and learning that Cassie’s husband, later revealed as Diddy, would watch discreetly from the same room. Though inexperienced with such situations involving a man’s presence, Phillip went along but humorously admits he didn’t last very long during the encounter.
