Ziskin uncovered that critical wiretap recordings were altered and minimized, especially conversations from the Metropolitan Detention Center, where some calls were “muted” on DEA versions but intact elsewhere. He filed a motion to call government agents to testify on wiretap tampering, leading to a rare evidentiary hearing to contest affidavit falsification.
