During the conversation, Greer criticized the government's handling of the issue, arguing that the process has lacked formal hearings with subpoena power, which he believes has prevented key whistleblowers from coming forward. He emphasized the need for a thorough, long-term investigation and expressed skepticism about appointing outside panels of experts, claiming such groups could be influenced by those seeking to preserve secrecy.

Greer also alleged that secret facilities exist where unidentified aerial phenomena and related materials are being stored, and he stated that high-level witnesses could provide additional information if granted adequate legal protections. Looking ahead, he suggested that if Congress fails to take meaningful action, the Disclosure Project may pursue a RICO lawsuit against corporations and individuals allegedly involved in concealing information from the public.
