--------
In a new interview, DJ Vlad and Daz Dillinger discussed the post-Death Row era, Daz’s time around So So Def, and the reunion of Tha Dogg Pound. Daz recalled ending his feud with Kurupt after the two unexpectedly met at Disneyland during his daughter’s birthday, which led to them reconnecting and working on *Cali Iz Active* around 2005-2006.
The conversation then turned to 50 Cent’s Tupac-assisted track “The Realest Killaz,” which Daz said came from an original song he produced. He explained that DJ Whoo Kid contacted him for the lyrics and session files, and Universal later offered him a publishing share.
Vlad then abruptly blasted producer Fredwreck, saying, “F*** Fredwreck,” calling him “the worst producer” from Dr. Dre’s camp and describing him as Dre’s “gopher.” Daz added that Fredwreck was often around Dre and noted he helped introduce him to the camp through earlier Dogg Pound work.
