When she was just 19, Arii was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. Initial treatment appeared successful, but the cancer recurred two years later. As a carrier of BRCA1 (BReast CAncer gene 1), along with a TP53 mutation – meaning her body’s ability to suppress tumors was diminished – Arii was told she was at risk for any form of cancer. That prediction proved true when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2024.
Already a student of Dr Joe’s work, Arii sought balance between surgical intervention and healing from within. But while attending her first retreat, she came up against a resistance to becoming “no body” and “no one.” Suddenly, Arii realized she had built a life around identifying with cancer. “I was letting my cancer make me special,” she says today.
Arii took part in retreat Coherence Healing™ sessions with the intention to overcome this identity. And when she went for a routine screening afterward, she had done it. She had created a new personality – and a new, cancer-free, personal reality.
