When Joane’s son, Eli, was six years old, he was diagnosed with autism – along with serious developmental and learning disabilities. When he started having strong, debilitating seizures, he was given another diagnosis: epilepsy so severe, his life was at risk. Joane began sleeping with Eli to watch over him during the night.
Joane was told there was no known cure; nothing that could be done about most of Eli’s symptoms – except try to manage the seizures with anticonvulsants. Seeking alternatives, Joane decided to attend one of Dr Joe’s retreats. She was surprised when Eli was invited to attend, as well – as a healee in live Coherence Healing™ sessions.
Lying next to Eli on the floor – as she was used to doing at home – Joane felt something very strong during the sessions. Eli felt it, too. “He does the three healings, and right away, his behavior changes completely,” Joane said onstage with Dr Joe just a couple of months later. “... And when someone is in pain physically, there’s this healer that comes out of him. I don’t know where it comes from, but ... he’s a changed person.”
