Man Says 74-Year-Old Mom Sent Over $250,000 To Online Boyfriends Until Banks ‘Shut Her Down’

Norma says she’s in a relationship with three online boyfriends, “Jeff,” “James,” and “Richard.”

“’Jeff’ has a sexy voice, and he always calls me baby,” Norma says. “’James’ is 10 years younger than me. He’ll text me and say, ‘I can’t stand the thought of losing you.’”

Norma says the three men need help getting back to the United States, and she wants to help them. However, Norma’s son, Rodney, and his wife, Cindy, say Norma has sent over $250,000 to these men – and she’s being scammed.

“She has put money in shoeboxes, wiring the money through, like, Western Union, until they shut her down. Her bank was letting her wire money, and then they shut her down,” Rodney says. “She ended up resorting to sending it through mail.”

Cindy adds, “I was astonished, because Norma has never been very generous with her money.”
