All three died at the end of March due to complications from COVID-19.

“Thanks to technology, we’re able to text and call and Facetime,” she says, noting that her 25-year-old twin daughters don’t live at home. She says that as part of their grieving process, they have been listening to voicemails from their deceased family members.

“I know that they’re looking to me and that I’m doing my very best to support them through this, and I’m trying to navigate this for myself as well,” says Kelly in the video above. “It’s the most difficult thing I’ve ever done.”
Kelly’s husband, Don, who was also hospitalized with the disease as her parents and brother were dying, has since recovered.
On Tuesday’s episode, Dr. Phil reassures Kelly that it’s OK to give her grief a voice.
