as posted by the channel

Nadia Murad has been fighting for this cause for 8 years, yet ISIS continues to terrorize her home region in Iraq, and now Russian soldiers are similarly raping and assaulting women and children in Ukraine. For survivors of sexual violence, there is no healing without justice, which is why she is at the World Economic Forum in Davos: to stress to world leaders the devastation of sexual violence as a tactic of war and the need to create global, survior-centered systems to bring perpetrators to justice.

Nadia Murad is a human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Co-Winner 2018 for her work fighting the use of sexual violence as a tactic of war in conflict zones.
