4:26Now PlayingThe first major protests against Argentina's new president Javier Milei are taking place in Buenos Aires. Thousands of people are attending demonstrations opposing the president's drastic cuts to public spending. Civil groups and trade unions have called on members to protest Milei's economic shock measures. They include a 50 percent devaluation of the Argentine peso and getting rid of some government ministries. Authorities have vowed to crack down on protests, and remove anyone blocking streets.
