6:19Now PlayingIn Georgia the electoral commission says a partial recount has confirmed the victory of the ruling party, Georgian Dream, in last weekend's parliamentary election. That's unlikely to ease the objections of Georgia's opposition -- which has denounced the poll as illegitimate amid allegations of vote rigging. Georgia's pro-European president - an opponent of the ruling party - has also claimed election interference by Russia. The EU and US have demanded a full investigation.
Meanwhile the country is at a crossroads. 30 years after the Black Sea nation gained its independence from the Soviet Union, the pull between West and East is once again defining the public debate. A majority of Georgians see their future in the European Union, but the ruling party wants closer ties with Russia.
