11:36Now PlayingMajor stock indexes plunged on Monday as US President Donald Trump showed no sign of backing away from his sweeping tariff plans. It started in Asia, where Hong Kong's Hang Seng has been among the hardest hit, falling 12 percent. We've also seen slides in Taiwan, Japan, China, India and South Korea. It's been a similar story in Europe, where Germany's DAX dropped around 10 percent at the start of trading.
