1:13:16Now PlayingRussia launched massive aerial assaults on Ukraine in recent days in what they say is a "response" to escalating Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian territory. Moscow fired hundreds of drones, killing more than a dozen people and saturating Ukraine's air defenses.
This comes after US President Donald Trump tried to broker an end to Moscow's three-year invasion, and said Vladimir Putin had "gone absolutely CRAZY" and threatened Russia with sanctions over the attacks. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his regret at what he called a missed opportunity for peace following the brief talks held between delegations from Russia and Ukraine in Turkey.
