11:56Now PlayingThere've been chaotic scenes in Gaza, where thousands of starving Palestinians rushed to receive aid from a new center backed by Israel and the US. The Israeli prime minister admits there was a temporary loss of control as the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation handed out food and medicine, following Israel's total aid blockade on the territory. Little is known about the private organization, which is accused of helping Israel fulfil its military objectives. The United Nations is refusing to work with the group.
Insights into the humanitarian situation from journalist Balig Sladeen, and from Bill Deere, Director of the Washington Representative Office of UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees.
