21:29Now PlayingMediators Egypt, Qatar and Turkey and US President Donald Trump have signed a document on the Gaza ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.
The signing took place during an international summit hosted by Egypt in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheik. Earlier, Trump praised Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for playing a key role in the negotiations between Israel and Hamas. Leaders and officials from more than two dozen countries are taking part in the meeting.
Israeli hostages are reuniting with their families after two years in Gaza. Hamas released the 20 surviving captives as part of a deal brokered by US president Donald Trump. He was in Israel for the occasion, where he met with the former hostages and their families. Addressing Israel's parliament, Trump hailed a historic dawn of a new Middle East.
In exchange for Hamas freeing the hostages, Israel has released about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees. Families were reunited in the occupied West Bank and Gaza. Hamas says more than 150 have been deported to Egypt.
