The latest war between Israel and Hezbollah broke out after US-Israeli attacks on Iran led Hezbollah to fire rockets into Israel, prompting an Israeli military incursion of southern Lebanon and heavy strikes on Beirut. Both sides have violated a previous ceasefire, in place since November 2024.
