14:16Now PlayingUkraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is facing one of the most significant domestic political challenges of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Thousands of protesters have launched open-ended demonstrations demanding the reinstatement of former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, widely credited with driving military innovation, tackling procurement corruption and modernising Ukraine's armed forces. Although Zelenskyy replaced Ukraine's commander-in-chief Oleksandr Syrskyi after public pressure, demonstrators say that is not enough and are continuing to demand Fedorov's return.
Our correspondent Nick Connolly reports from Kyiv, and we speak with anti-corruption expert Tetiana Shevchuk from Ukraine's Anti-Corruption Action Centre about what this political crisis could mean for Ukraine's government, defence reforms and President Zelenskyy's leadership.
