5:17Now PlayingAn airstrike by Myanmar's military on a Buddhist monastery has killed over a dozen people taking part in a meditation retreat, according to an opposition group. The attack occurred in Swel Le Oh village in central Myanmar. Many others were wounded when a fighter jet dropped a bomb in the compound of the village's monastery. It is the latest in a series of frequent and deadly aerial strikes supposedly targeting pro-democracy forces and ethnic armed groups. The attacks often cause civilian casualties.
