IDAHO FALLS - A heartbroken Idaho Falls mother is asking for help in finding a nine thousand dollar medical device that helps her disabled eight-year-old daughter communicate.

"It was specially designed for her," Bianca Gudino told EastIdahoNews.com. "This device is not cheap and we just want it back."

Medicaid provided the Dynavox T10 for the Gudino’s back in March. It helps young Yaretzi, who can't speak.

"She isn't able to talk," Gudino said. "She knows sign language but obviously not everybody knows sign language."

The Dynavox T10 disappeared on May 20. Gudino says that afternoon Yaretzi’s teacher loaded the child and the device onto a Rollin Shuttle van.

"She was picked up from school and transported to Premier Therapy," Gudino said. "By the time she got to Premier Therapy the device was gone."

Gudino says Rollin Shuttle has told her they don’t know what happened to the Dynavox T10.

EastIdahoNews.com reached called and emailed the company several times but, as of Friday afternoon, our messages haven’t been returned.

Idaho Falls Police are now investigating and asking anyone with information to call 208-529-1200.

"I just ask that whoever took it please just bring it back," a tearful Gudino said. " This is hard. Just give it back please. That’s all I ask."
