1:45Now PlayingAMMON -- VO: A new pizza place in Ammon is serving customers all of the toppings they want for one flat rate.
SOT: “Everybody can come in and get whatever they want on the pizza. It doesn’t change the price, and it’s literally cooked in 3 or 4 minutes," Owner Jamie Rhoda says.
VO: Locally owned Rizo's Pizza already has pie fans raving about its artisan-style pizza with a thinner crust, and the restaurants modern interior.
SOT: “What I love about Rizo’s is it’s a fun environment, it’s new, it’s really comfortable place to be. I love their pizza because it’s fresh, they’re all new ingredients, and you can tell that they make them daily,” customer Tiffany Dalling says.
VO: Customers say they enjoy the style of the pizza and the available topping options to personalize their order.
SOT: “I usually make my own pizza, and I usually get the red sauce with pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, artichokes, and red peppers, and I get no cheese,” Coates said. “I’m allergic to dairy so I like that they can make it without cheese for me, and it’s not greasy or heavy feeling when you eat it."
VO: Rhoda says outside personalized pizza’s two originals have become popular, the True pizza, and the Willow pizza.
SOT: “One’s a meat and a red sauce. The Willow is a garlic rub with some cheese and then some artichoke, and parmesan. After we cook it we put red sauce dollops on top of it.” Rhoda says. “The pizza’s are named after my kids. One through six (the) number seven pizza is actually named after a niece that had passed away."
STAND UP: Today I got one of the signature Pizza’s called the willow. It has a garlic rub, mozzarella sauce, artichokes, and it’s topped off with red sauce. I really like the crisp crust and the artichokes were actually pretty good. I’d say the best thing about Rizo’s is you can get unlimited toppings for the same price.
VO: If customers are looking for dishes outside of the Pizza variety Rizo's also offers fresh salads, cinnamon strips (breadsticks), a cookie dessert called the Rizookie, and special drinks like Horchata.
SOT: “You can come and build whatever you want. That’s the beauty of it,” Rhoda said.
