1:10Now PlayingIDAHO FALLS — Quarter-size hail pounded sections of Idaho Falls Monday morning as dark clouds and thunderstorms moved quickly across the area.
A severe thunderstorm warning from the National Weather Service remains in effect until 11:30 a.m. for parts of Northwestern Bonneville County, Southern Jefferson County and Central Bingham County.
The NWS reports a severe thunderstorm was located near Shelley just after 11 a.m. and it was moving north at 30 mph.
Several homes and businesses lost power during the storm.
