Many times we're asked for updates on the recipients so every Thursday, from now until Christmas, we'll be posting an interview with someone who received a Secret Santa gift in the past.
Last year, Tomas Lizarraga and his family with a grocery store shopping spree. Thomas, his wife and four kids had been in a serious crash months earlier. Tomas and his 15-year-old both had their hips broken and were admitted to the hospital.
We decided to follow up with the Lizarraga family and see how they are doing a year later. Watch the video in the player above for the update.
