Kristen Tracy is an author who mainly writes books for teenagers and kids. She grew up in eastern Idaho and has written several books, including “I Quit,” “I am Friendly,” “I am Picky” and “When Beavers Flew” – a true story of how one man in Idaho saved 76 beavers from destroying a town by parachuting them into uninhabited wetlands.
I had a great time chatting with Kristen (and reading some of her books!). Here is what I asked her:
Where did you come up with the idea to write “When Beavers Flew”?
Do you know if the beaver program is still alive and working in McCall?
You grew up in eastern Idaho. What did you like about living here?
