1:01Now PlayingActress Rhea Chakraborty's brother, Showik Chakraborty, who is currently in Taloja jail recently recorded his statement with the NCB. As per the latest updates, a special NDPS court judge GB Gurao on September 24 allowed the NCB to visit and record statements of both Showik and Sushant Singh Rajput's cook, Dipesh Sawant. This happened after the NCB in their plea mentioned that Showik's long phone chats with 'high-profile celebrities' indicate his deep involvement in the drug trafficking angle which needs to be further investigated. Meanwhile, Rhea and Showik while seeking their bail on September 24 mentioned that since no drugs were recovered from them and the allegations against them don't pertain to 'commercial' quantities of the contraband, their offence is bailable.
