1:58Now PlayingBollywood star Akshay Kumar has recently exposed an event company claiming that the actor would attend an awards show in Lucknow as a chief guest. Akshay took to his social media page and dismissed the rumours of him attending the show organised by 'Elite Productions' in Lucknow. All this happened after Akshay noticed a tweet posted by one of his fans. The actor responded to the tweet saying, 'As much as I would love to visit Lucknow soon, this news is absolutely untrue.' We also got our hands on the event company's post which was shared by an Instagram handle 'eliteproduction2021' which has the actor's picture and a caption which says, 'Get recognized for your contribution to the world of business, superstar Akshay Kumar will reward you for your performance.' This is not happening for the first time, recently, Rajkummar Rao had warned his fans and colleagues about an imposter circulating a fake email asking for money. Last year in March actor Suniel Shetty had filed a police complaint against a production company for circulating a fake poster featuring him and lying about him playing the film's lead. A while ago Sonu Sood had also alerted his fans of a fraudster asking people to donate using his name. The list is long as many B-Town celebs including Salman Khan, Tisca Chopra, Shruti Haasan, Swara Bhasker and Suniel Shetty had to approach the cyber crime cell with complaints in the past.
