2:31Now PlayingThere is a lot of buzz going on these days regarding the April wedding of B-Town's star couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. According to reports, this wedding that everyone was eagerly waiting for is finally set to happen in the second week of April. Reports suggest that wedding preparations have already begun, and festivities will be taking place in Mumbai between April 14 to 17. While there has been no confirmation on the wedding date, April 17 is said to be the big day. According to reports, the couple is going against the current trend of destination weddings and will be getting married at the Kapoor family’s ancestral RK House in Mumbai's Chembur. Interestingly, this is the same venue where Ranbir's parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor had married in 1980. Now, amid their wedding speculations, the reception invite of Ranbir’s parents Neetu and Rishi Kapoor has gone viral on the internet. Neetu and Rishi Kapoor got married on January 23, 1980, with the family members in attendance. The viral reception invite reads, 'Mr & Mrs. Raj Kapoor request the pleasure of your company on the auspicious occasion of the marriage reception of their son Rishi (Grandson of Late Mr. and Mrs. Prithviraj Kapoor) with Neetu (Daughter of Mrs. Rajee Singh).' After coming across their reception invitation card, several netizens got nostalgic and took to the comment section to give their reaction. While one commented, 'Wowwww so nice to see this', another one wrote, 'What a memory'. While remembering Rishi Kapoor, one commented, 'Unbelievable that Rishi is not with us #RIP chintu Sir'. Unfortunately, Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on April 30, 2020, in Mumbai, after battling cancer for two years. He was 67 years of age. Meanwhile, coming back to Ranbir and Alia, the couple fell in love five years back in 2017 when they started shooting for their upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’ and ever since then, they are shelling out a couple and relationship goals for their fans.
