The findings of the autopsy report adds fresh twist to the mysterious death of the BJP leader as it was initially reported that she died of a heart attack. Based on the report, the Anjuna Police registered a murder case against the two associates of tin Tok star, who had accompanied her to Goa. As per a news report, "Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code was added to the case related to the death of the 42-year-old”. Sudhir Sagwan and Sukhwinder Wasi, who had accompanied Phogat when she arrived in Goa on August 22, were named as accused in the case.
