Nargis Fakhri shares her thoughts on on-screen nudity

Nargis Fakhri who will be making her OTT debut soon with the show ‘Tatlubaaz’ alongside Dheeraj Dhoopar recently got candid about her venturing into the digital space. In an interview with a news portal, the actress spoke about how the OTT content has exploded in the recent past and how there is a variety of characters for actors to play. Talking about the explicit content on OTT platforms and drawing lines, Nargis reportedly said ‘I would never be naked for a project. I have a problem with nudity.’ She further confessed that she will be open to playing characters with diverse sexual orientations or unconventional storylines including homosexuality and said, ‘I wouldn’t mind that because playing a homosexual or being shown as a woman married to another woman doesn’t bother me. Playing any character for me is part of my job. You’re acting and I think that’s totally fine.’ Further citing how sometimes the audiences find it uncomfortable to watch OTT content with their family, Nargis reportedly said ‘The audience has a choice to watch it or not. They can choose to switch it off or watch something else. That’s the beauty of OTT platform. There are so many options out there.’ Nargis Fakhri was last seen in the Anupam Kher-Neena Gupta starrer ‘Shiv Shastri Balboa’ which released last year in September. She is best-known for her portrayal of Heer in her debut film ‘Rockstar’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
