Rahul Roy’s soul sister Priyanka Roy reveals how Salman Khan helped him pay his hospital bills

Rahul Roy who had suffered a brain stroke in 2020 was admitted to a Mumbai hospital for 1.5 months and also kept in the ICU. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rahul’s soul sister Priyanka Roy has revealed that Salman Khan called him up to ask if he needs any help and paid his hospital bills. She reportedly said, ‘I want to also say thanks to Salman (Khan) because whatever bill was pending, Salman cleared it in February.’ Priyanka further added, ‘The most beautiful thing is Salman did not speak about it in front of the media. This is called really being with a person. This touched my heart. This man is a gem. I mean I didn't ask him, I could have asked. Somebody out of the whole crowd comes and asks in reality if you are actually in trouble and that's the biggest thing. This is called you are a star. Not just being a star in front of the camera.’ Even Rahul Roy heaped praises on the ‘Tiger’ actor as he said ‘Salman ke saath sab log bolte hai woh aisa hai, woh waisa hai, but for me he is a good person.’ Priyanka also confessed that she told Rahul to approach Salman for work as his health is fine. On the work front, Rahul Roy’s film ‘Agra’ premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
