Rahul Roy reveals Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt didn't check on him after brain stroke

Remember the original Aashiqui boy of Bollywood, Rahul Roy? In 2020, the actor suffered a brain stroke while shooting for his film LAC – Live the Battle in Ladakh and had to be airlifted. While Rahul has now recovered, in an interaction with Siddarth Kanan, he revealed that when he suffered a brain stroke, Mahesh Bhatt, who gave him a break in the industry, or his daughter Pooja Bhatt didn't even check on his health. Rahul said ‘No but that’s ok’. Rahul's sister Priyanka then added, “No one from his home also called. His twin brother, who was following up with me, called. But that’s ok. It’s been three and a half years and nobody from his family has yet called him or contacted him. When his own brother has not called, how can we expect from the stars.” Recalling how Salman Khan extended his help financially, Priyanka also said, “Salman did not know about his situation. But when he found out, he called.” Rahul then added, “The pending bill of the hospital was cleared by Salman in February. He called and asked if he can be of any help and he helped. I am very thankful to him.” Priyanka then shared, “He never created a news out of it. This is not some kind of ceremony or award that you need to publish, I realised this man (Salman) is a gem.” Sharing about how his career got derailed post the success of Aashiqui, Rahul said, "Jo kaam merko dena tha, unn logon ne sab le liya, but they didn’t give what I was looking for". Priyanka then quipped, “He signed many films back to back. He got very busy.
