Sana Khan talks about the benefits of breastfeeding, reveals breastfeeding helped her lose 15 kgs

‘Bigg Boss’ fame Sana Khan who gave birth to a baby boy in July this year recently got candid about her thoughts on breastfeeding. August 1-7 is marked as World Breastfeeding Week and the newly-turned mother shared her journey so far of feeding her child. Sana reportedly said, ‘Feeding your child is one of the most beautiful feelings in the world. It connects you with the baby even more. And it’s truly magical.’ Further talking about certain mothers having inhibitions when it comes to breastfeeding, she said ‘But, I don’t understand why... Breastfeeding is essential for even the child’s health, as milk is known to be the healthiest of all things. So, it’s important for the child to get it. It keeps their gut healthy, strengthens the immunity system and helps in the overall growth.’ Sana also revealed that breastfeeding has helped her lose about 15 kgs weight in one month. ‘I was surprised as well but it’s scientifically proven that breastfeeding results in weight loss’, said the ‘Jai Ho’ actress. Further, Sana also talked about the concept of breastfeeding the child in public and confessed that she is not comfortable with it. She said, ‘A lot of new mothers may be fine with feeding the child in the public and it’s their choice, but I’m not comfortable with the idea.
