The actor is collaborating with ‘Jawan’ filmmaker Atlee Kumar for this masala action entertainer which is expected to release on May 31, 2024. A day after starting the shoot of the film, Varun seems to have suffered a minor injury on the set. Taking to his Instagram Stories, the ‘Badlapur’ actor posted this picture to show a red wound on the elbow of his left arm. He wrote, ‘No pain, no gain. VD18’ as a side-text on the picture. Meanwhile, a video of Varun and Atlee chatting during the shoot at a suburban Mumbai film studio had surfaced on the internet a couple of days back. Produced by Atlee and Murad Khetani, ‘VD18’ will be reportedly helmed by Tamil director Kalees and it will also star actresses Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in pivotal roles. Keerthy Suresh who has delivered many hits in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam film industries will mark her Bollywood debut with this film. As for Varun, the actor is also gearing up for his debut web series ‘Citadel India’ alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
