Veteran actress Gautami and her daughter receive death threats; files police complaint

Yesteryear actress Gautami has filed a police complaint after she and her daughter, Subbulakshmi, received death threats. According to reports, in her complaint, she has alleged that a builder named Allagappan, whom the veteran actress has appointed to sell her 46-acre property, with the help of political goons, is threatening, which is also affecting Subbulakshmi's studies. The actress mentioned that the builder and his wife defrauded her of assets worth Rs 25 crore by creating forged documents. Gutami has also reportedly stated that the builder has embezzled the assets and has made four fraudulent transactions. She has requested the Chennai police to take necessary action against the alleged accused and asked them to help her recover her properties legally. The Chennai Central Crime Branch has filed the case and initiated an investigation. The police have also sent a notice to the builder and family asking to be present for the inquiry. Gautami is one of the most popular actresses in the South industry and has featured as a heroine opposite many leading actors of the eighties and nineties including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijayakanth, Sathyaraj, Prabhu, and Karthik.
