2:15Now PlayingGoing by latest reports, Tiger Shroff, Sunny Leone and some other celebs are likely to be summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the ongoing investigation with the Mahadev Book online betting case. The ED has reportedly frozen assets worth Rs 417 crore belonging to Sourabh Chandrakar, the promoter of the betting app. According to reports in a news portal, Chandrakar spent Rs 200 crore on his own wedding function in the UAE in February for which he hired an event management company and flew several celebrities in private jets to perform at the function. Wedding planners, dancers, decorators etc were hired from Mumbai and hawala channels were used to make payments in cash. As per digital evidences gathered by the ED, Rs 112 crore was delivered via hawala to an event management company. It is being reported that the ED may record statements of celebrities who had received cash payments from Mahadev Book. Apart from Tiger and Sunny, some of the other celebs who are said to have attended the wedding function of Chandrakar in UAE were Neha Kakkar, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Asgar, Vishal Dadlani, Elli AvrRam, Bharti Singh, Bhagyashree, Kriti Kharbanda, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Krushna Abhishek and Sukhwinder Singh.For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
